Travaille en anthropologie de la santé. Ses recherches portent sur la génétique médicale et la génomique : dans leurs rapports avec le système de soins et la santé globale en Oman, avec les mondes du cancer en France et avec les soins de santé primaire à l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS). Sa démarche de recherche combine anthropologie de la santé, anthropologie des sciences et collaboration avec des historiens et sociologues.
